right now, I'm kind of feeling as down and gloomy as the weather is. I'm not up to much talking either, so it's up to the pictures to tell the story of my new shawl...

  

Stylecraft Special Effects „Rumba“

Pattern:

Start: ch 4 and ss into 1st chain stitch

Row 1: ch 4, 3 tr into ring, ch 2, 3 tr into ring, ch 1, dtr into ring

Row 2: ch 4, 3 tr into 1st loop, [3 tr, ch 2, 3 tr] into middle loop, [3 tr, ch 1, dtr] into next/last loop (pull close towards last cluster)

Row 3 – end: ch 4, [3 tr, ch 1] into each loop, [3 tr, ch 2, 3 tr] into middle loop, [ch 1, 3 tr] into each loop, ch 1, [3 tr, ch 1, dtr] into last loop (pull close towards last cluster)

  

Border:

Row 1: dc in each stitch and around each loop, start and end with [dc, ch1, dc, ch 1, dc], [dc, ch 2, cd] in middle loop

Row 2: [dc, ch 1, skip 1 stitch, dc, ch 1, skip 1 stitch] all around, start and end with [dc, ch1, dc, ch 1, dc] in first/last loop, [dc, ch 2, dc] in middle loop

Row 3: dc in each stitch and around each loop, start and end with 3 dc in first/last loop, [dc, ch 2, dc] in middle loop, along long side as follows: 3 dc around each dtr, 2 dc around each ch 4, 2 dc in ring

  

Flowers:

Start with MC

Round 1: 6 times [tr3tog, ch 2], ss in 1st tr3tog

Round 2: ss till 1st loop, 6 times [dc, 4 tr, dc] around each loop
