One oval doily, please! – Ein ovales Tischdeckchen, bitte!

Dear friends,

my mum has been one of my most fervent supporters and fans ever since I started Atelier Marie-Lucienne.

So, what would you have done, when your biggest fan is on the phone and asks you to have a look through your box of FOs, cause she needs an oval doily approx. 25 by 40cm, and you haven't got one? Do you honestly say: „Sorry mum, oval doilies are out!“?

Nope - you cannot, can you? And that's why I made her one.

A Summer Dress – Ein Sommerkleid

Dear friends,

approx. 2 weeks ago I started something I intended to become a summer top. I was adamant it had to have a round yolk and I wanted to figure out all by myself how to make one. I know there are plenty of beautiful patterns around of stunning tops with yokes from lovely people who have done all the maths and trial an error stuff, but...

Started on Saturday, frogged on Sunday and started over again, finished it by Thursday and had another idea: Why not turn the top into a dress!?

"Sheherazade Blue" or/oder " The Keep It Simple Sweater"

Dear friends,

last week, as well as last weekend have been pretty busy (again). And that's why I only write about my newest make today, even though I already finished it on Thursday evening...

A few weeks back Michelle from Dora Does was looking for pattern testers for „The Keep It Simple Sweater“. By chance this coincided perfectly with me looking for a project to test my own hand-dyed yarn with.

Granny-Spiration Link-Up Party #6

Welcome to the Granny-Spiration Link-Up Party!

It's the 1st Saturday of June!
It's time for the sixth Granny-Spiration Link-Up Party!

(Hier geht's zu den deutschsprachigen Erläuterungen...)

This Link-Up Party is all about granny squares. You are most welcome to link-up any projects you've made with either the traditional granny square, the solid one or any granny square you love or even have created yourself.

The Granny-Spiration Link-Up Party will start on the first Saturday of each month at 8 a.m. (CET) and will run 20 days. You'll be able to share your finished objects as well as your WIPs with other crocheters from all around the world. The five most popular links will be featured and shared on my social media sites.
