Granny Square - Etta - Häkelquadrat

 

Dear friends,

as in previous years, I am taking part in the 100 Days Project. This year, however, the Instagram challenge started on the 31st of January and not in April. So I felt a bit caught off guard, but, maybe it wasn't too bad to not have much time to think and rethink about a possible project.

The project I chose for 2021 (at the last minute) is: #100DaysOfGrannySquares. This means that I will crochet one granny square every day and after 100 days I will have enough squares to make a nice lapblanket.

From my endless stash I chose these five balls of Deramores. It's acrylic yarn, which I don't particularly like, but the colours are perfect for the coming spring! And this is my selection: Deramores Studio DK Sky, Rose, Peony, Fuchsia and Peridot.

A tutorial was also quickly found. I modified an old granny square of mine and it became the Etta granny square.

Since I don't want any repeats in the blanket, I asked Auntie Google for advice and made a list. 4 colour combinations of 5 colours without repeats results in 120 combinations - that's not bad either: I'll just make 120 squares!

Etta Granny Square

Material:

• yarn

• corresponding crochet hook

• darning needle

• pair of scissors

Abbreviations (UK terms):

• ch = chain stitch

• dtr = double treble

• FPdtr = front post dtr

• mc = magic circle

• R = round

• tr = treble

Liebe Freunde,

so wie in den vorherigen Jahren, nehme ich auch dieses Jahr am 100 Tage Projekt teil. Dieses Jahr jedoch fing die Instagram-Challenge schon am 31. Januar an und nicht erst im April. Daher fühlte ich mich schon etwas überrumpelt, aber, vielleicht war es gar nicht verkehrt, nicht viel Zeit zu haben, um über ein Projekt nach zu denken.

Das Projekt, welches ich für 2021 (in letzter Minute) auswählte war: #100DaysOfGrannySquares. D.h., dass ich jeden Tag ein Häkelquadrat häkele und somit nach 100 Tage genügend beisammen habe, um mir daraus eine hübsche kleine Decke zu machen.

Aus meinem unendlichen Vorrat an Wolle und Garne wählte ich diese fünf Knäuel von Deramores. Es ist zwar Acrylgarn, was ich nicht sonderlich mag, aber dafür sind die Farben perfekt für den kommenden Frühling! Und das ist meine Auswahl: Deramores Studio DK Sky, Rose, Peony, Fuchsia und Peridot.

Eine Anleitung war auch schnell gefunden. Ich habe ein altes Häkelquadrat von mir abgewandelt und daraus wurde dann das Etta Häkelquadrat.

Da ich möglichst aber keine Wiederholungen in der Decke möchte, habe ich Tante Google um Rat gefragt und eine Liste erstellt. 4er Farbkombinationen aus 5 Farben ohne Wiederholungen ergibt 120 Kombinationen – auch nicht schlimm: Dann mache ich halt 120 Quadrate!

• LmB = besteht aus 1 oder mehrere Lm
